Yesterday I got a fish and I named it Roberto! He is a beta fish that is pearly white with blue and purple fins. He is the reason why I created this blog, or atleast he is the reason why I titled it Roberto. Watching Roberto made me think a lot. His life is boring. He swims around in a little bowl all day long staring at my empty room. What goes through his head as he slowly swims in cirlces? I'm sure he wonders what his purpose is. Whether he is just an insignificant organism for me to look at every once in awhile, or if there is something more. I think that we are all fish in a bowl. We wonder in circles wondering what to do. Whether we should be an artist or a firefighter, where we will go to school, if we will have kids. Life is uncertain. We spend so much time worrying about the little things, that life ends up scooting by. We need to get out of our fish bowls and grab life by the horns. Take a leap of faith and just go with what makes us happy. A lot of people aren't happy with what they have been given, yet they won't take the time to change it. Make your life worth living. A life your proud of. Something to look back upon and say to yourself, ya! I did that! That when your life is almost up, you will be satisfied with what you accomplished, and you won't have any regret. To go to your highschool reunion and be proud of who you are is something wonderful to accomplish. Have self confidence and create a life that you enjoy! It doesn't matter how much money is involved, or if anyone else approves, so long as your happy doing what your doing.
